What made to measure means here
It is worth being precise, because the words are used loosely. A lot of what is sold as custom is a garment that already exists being altered to fit you — taken in at the seams, shortened, the blouse recut. That is a real service and it is not this one.
Here nothing exists before you ask for it. There is no stock and no rail to try on; the cloth is chosen, the design is drawn for you, and the piece is cut from your own measurements and fitted as it is built. Nothing is made in advance and nothing is made twice.
And it is not only bridal. Bridal is most of the work, but every piece the studio makes is made the same way — chaniya cholis for Navratri and garba, the whole wedding week for the family around the bride, festive and Diwali wear, and kurta sets and Indo-western pieces for men and children.

What does made to measure mean — is it a standard size altered to fit?
No. A standard garment taken in at the seams is a real service and it is a different one. Here nothing exists before you order it: there is no ready-made stock, the piece is cut from your own measurements and fitted as it is built, and nothing is made twice.
Do you only make bridal, or can anything be custom made?
Anything the studio makes is made to measure. Bridal is most of the work, but the same applies to chaniya cholis for Navratri and garba, the wedding week for the whole family, festive and Diwali wear, and sherwanis and Indo-western pieces for men and children.
Can I order just a blouse, or does it have to be a full outfit?
Yes — bring your own saree or fabric and we cut and stitch the blouse to your measure. It is ordered the same way as anything else here: cut to your body, fitted, and finished by hand.
Can a look from a past collection be remade?
Yes — any archived look can be rebuilt to your measure, in your colour if you wish. The archive is not a museum; it is a menu. Four weeks at most, like any order.
I live abroad. How do fittings work?
Measurements are taken with you on a video call, and the finished piece travels by courier. Most outstation and NRI brides need a single visit — some, none at all. There is a fuller guide for brides abroad at niraliamin.com/overseas.
What does a bridal lehenga cost?
